North Korea: WWIII?
Sorry for not posting in a while, I have been more focused on my other site: sciborg.wordpress.com. However, with the pending events ongoing with North Korea, I felt I had to post. In case any of you have not been looking at the news as of late, North Korea has been a bit of a problem for the United States. With missile tests and war threats, North Korea seems to be up to something big. As of June 22, President Barack Obama has responded that the U.S. can and will respond with appropriate force. What will come up next? Your guess is as good as mine…well, nearly as good.
Future Predictions…?
Well, today I was browsing Msn.com and saw a little page on “Future Predictions.” Needless to say, I quickly clicked on the linked right away. I don’t know if these will come true, but a few seem likely. For the full article, grab your virtual boogieboard and head to: http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/Features/Lists/?article=FuturePredictions>1=27004. Without further ado, here are 10 predictions for the near-and not so near-future.
1. Everything you say and do will be recorded by 2030
2. Bioviolence will become a greater threat as the technology becomes more accessible
3. The car’s days as king of the road may soon be over
4. Careers, and their preparatory college majors, are becoming more specialized
5. There may not be world law in the foreseeable future, but the world’s legal systems will be networked
6. Professional knowledge will become obsolete almost as quickly as it’s acquired
7. The race for biomedical and genetic enhancement will be what the space race was in the 20th century
8. Urbanization will hit 60 percent by 2030
9. The Middle East will become more secular while religious influence in China will grow
10. Access to electricity will reach 83 percent of the world by 2030
Well there you go, lots of new things to look forward to (maybe!) and many things that could possibly go wrong. Well, maybe some of these things will help, but I personally don’t want to be watched in the shower from a computer in Langley…
North Korean Missile Launch
Well, considering the considerable media hype over this subject, I am sure pretty much anyone has heard of North Korea’s missile launch just a few days ago. While North Korea claimed it was a satellite, the rocket never went into orbit. Apparently, the course it took could have obviously been a test for a nuclear missile’s range. Since this website is dedicated to The End of The World, then this is a pretty big prelude for things to know. I know this may be a possibility, but methinks it is a little bit bigger than that. Just a hunch. So, look out for more of North Korea soon, because its starting to look like World War III could be just around the horizon. But thats just me.
Where Am I?
Good question! If you are at this page and intelligible enough to read, then you may be asking yourself the same question. There is no easy answer to this question, but I will try to sum it up as quickly and neatly as possible. This is the home of the It’s The End blog hosted on wordpress.com. This blog was created because the owner (that’s me) decided to keep track of all things happening in the world that may or may not cause possible annihilation. Sound a bit dreary? It doesn’t have to be. In fact, many religions believe at some time or other the end times will come and they will reach glorious salvation. Besides, an end doesn’t always mean complete destruction; sometimes it is simply the end of one story and the beginning of another. Here, I will just tell the stories as they are and give my ever-amazing wit to add a little something different to the story, because I am sure you all want to hear that. Am I right? Wait, don’t answer that. Well anyways, I hope to start this website off with a bang, so be looking for more posts soon. And please, do come again.
